As a current or former employee or current business partner of NILT, you can report to NILT’s whistleblower scheme on:
1) infringements of applicable EU law;
2) serious infringements of applicable law;
3) other serious matters, such as sexual harassment (unwanted verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct with sexual undertones) or aggravated harassment with the purpose or effect of violating a person's dignity, especially by creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.
The whislteblowerscheme is not intended to replace or substitute the existing communication channels in NILT. If you are a current or former employee and have been subjected to harassment, you should know that you can safely contact your manager, health- and safety representative or other members of management. If you are a current collaborator of NILT, you can safely contact a person in management (the Executive Board or the Board of Directors). Regarding the communication channel you choose, your complaint will be taken seriously and investigated and handled as well as possible. The whistleblowerscheme is a channel that can be used in cases where an incident is not suitable to be processed through existing communication channels or where you wish to remain anonymous to NILT.

Before you submit a report to the whistleblowerscheme, it is important that you read NILT's whistleblowerpolicy. This includes information about what you can report (see also the bullet list above). You can also read about the process after a report has been submitted, including how information provided by you will be handled and used in further case processing steps, in investigations etc.
Your report will be handled and evaluated by SIRIUS advokater. If a report gives rise to further investigation, this can be handled by either NILT or SIRIUS advokater. Both NILT and SIRIUS advokater may have to ask you questions to ensure that the matter is adequately disclosed and handled correctly. Also, one or more members of management may need to be informed of the matter if deemed necessary in the specific situation and circumstances.
When you file a report, you also create a communication channel, and you choose your own password. You use this when you log into the system to see if you have been asked questions. If SIRIUS advokater has insufficient information about the incident reported, they may have to close the case.
