The whistleblower scheme may be used to report any suspected serious irregularities, breaches, or potential violations of the applicable law or the company’s essential policies and guidelines.
The following matters are generally not covered by the scheme:
- Complaints about poor cooperation, perceived incompetence, remuneration grievances, and other day-to-day or routine matters.
- Complaints or frustrations about the execution of projects, including lack of input from other departments, tight schedules or the like. Such matters should be discussed with either the immediate manager, HR, or representatives responsible for the work environment. Conversely, suspicions of, for example, financial fraud, misuse of AET's funds, bribery, nepotism, or the like will be covered.
- Reports on the working environment, decision-making processes, or general management decisions.
What information must be included in a report?
- When you make a report, it is important that you describe all factual matters. These may also be matters that you do not immediately consider important.
- You must document your claim as much as possible - and in as much detail as possible. If you have written documentation in the form of a document, images, or something else, please upload the material directly to the whistleblower portal in a digital format. The documents that are uploaded are copied by the system so that all meta-data are not passed on to AET to ensure maximum anonymity.
Track your report:
- When you file the report, you may choose to do so anonymously or, if you wish, to make your identity known.
- When you submit your report, you will receive a unique username and password. Whether or not you choose to remain anonymous, we recommend that you keep track of your report as the people processing the report may have questions for you as part of the investigation.
- It is important that you remember or note down your username and password, as neither the username nor password can be resubmitted due to a built-in security and anonymity feature.
If you lose or forget your login credentials, you will have to create and file a new report with a new username and password.
